Key FOB Cliffhanger

Yesterday after washing my 1995 900s, I raked leaves. Of course, this filled
the cuffs of my pants with lots of leaves and dirt from the yard. My wife
pointed this out to me while I was in the house and insisted that I put the
pants in the laundry before getting it all over the hardwood floors, and
while a load of laundry was going that was the same color.

This called for prompt action! So, into the laundry went the pants, along
with the key fob for the alarm system.

This morning, I pushed the button and no joy. I removed the batteries and
pulled the rubber pads out. The fob is literally hanging out to dry. I'll
let you know if it survives.

regards,
Paul Sotrop
