Following kind advice in your chatroom and contacting you to see if you are
in a position to recommend a good, honest independent mechanic who
specialises in SAABs. My 900 needs a general overhaul by someone who really
knows what they are doing.I have been getting it fixed almost monthly with
one thing or another. My friendly local guy has done his best but is now
recommending I trade in and get a new 9000.The local SAAB dealer is not
particularly helpful, is very expensive and would want to sell me a new car.
We would love to hang onto this one but need to get it more reliable and to
have the roof fixed or renewed : it's leaking. Am not mechanically minded
myself which makes it hard to assess work done. Any ideas?

Thanks

Steve
