Yes. There are two possibilities. You either have a
parakeet stuck under the hood, or more likely, your
turbo bypass valve (often called a Hooter Valve) needs
to be replaced. This is very simple and doesn't cost
much. Even if you aren't very mechanical you can do
this job yourself. Buy a new Hooter Valve, find the
same part under your hood, unscrew the hoses from the
old one, and replace it with the new one. Make sure
you keep the same orientation as it is easy to install
it backwards. Don't ask me how I know.
