>dealer stated the Bosch Platuim plugs are inferior to NGK's, again does =
this ring true?

You hit a nerve with me on this one. I tried Bosch Platinum plugs in a =
Mazda I had; the plugs fouled out after a few thousand miles. I had =
used mostly Champion standard/copper-core plugs in the car before and =
after and never had a fouling problem again.

I also have a Taurus SHO that uses platinum plugs from the factory. =
Bosch Platinums are not recommeded for the SHO because they aren't the =
proper size to allow the electrical connector to fit properly, and they =
have a tendancy to foul (and I thought it was just me!) =20

When the dealer said that NGK's were better, were you able to determine =
if he was suggesting that platinum plugs not be used in your Saab (which =
seems to be an often voiced belief in the group), or was he saying that =
NGK platinum plugs are better than Bosch's?
