Suspension

I found my ´91 900 Conv T16S (Monte Carlo) much to soft. I thought it has
SPG/Aero springs, but no....
The first step of improvement was the conversion to the Aero dampeners.
They made the car pretty stiff! The drive was o.K. But the car looked much
to high - especially in front. Now I am ready: I installed Aero/SPG springs
( a little shortened from me) but only in front - to get the car looks
agressive. The rear springs are original (black marks). Driving the car you
can not know if the springs are different. The front is now about 2 cm
lowered. It looks greeeaaaaat!! It seem as I have now negative camber. I
love cornering with this new suspension! It is more agressively and direct.
But is it o.K. for the tires? Does anybody know how much negative camber is
too much for the old 900? I already heard about the 'turbo! alignment' with
1° negative camber and +1.5° toe-in. But how much negative can camber get
in case of lowering the front about 2 cm? BTW The springs can not be
stiffer in the convertible body - it is too soft! Any suggestions?

Happy Saabing

Richard
