good idea.
however, there are only two ways to get that car in here legally.  it will
not be easy, because SAAB never had that model with light pressure turbo
certified for US sale.   that means it is not recognized by US Department of
Transportation or by US Environmental Protection Agency as meeting their
standards for all vehicles in the US...

so the only two ways to get it in (without paying the roughly $750,000 -
$1,000,000 it would cost to get it certified by DOT and EPA, including a
federally mandated crash test of the same car) are:

(1) change at least 35% of its componants, making it in their eyes no longer
a SAAB, but a 'kit car,' imported in numbers small enough to exempt it from
EPA and DOT cert.  ( you can buy brand new alfa romeos here in buffalo, ny
this way)

or
(2) have it tagged by EPA and DOT for temporary USA useage only.  this will
grant you only a short term to use it (like 6 mos or a 9months) BUT u will
have to agree to DESROY it after that period.  shipping it back out is not
allowed.

again, i say, WALKMOMNA TIL USA !
