Clutch Feel & Mechanics: Boston-South Shore MA

I have a '91 900 5-Speed with 93K Miles. Tranny was replaced at ~60K miles
secondary to a reverse gear problem (car would not stay in reverse). Clutch
replaced at same time. For the past few weeks, I have noticed that the
clutch pedal feels looser, and a times when I depress the pedal, I feel a
vibratory, almost mushy, sensation -- as if fluid is moving when I depress
the pedal. The transmission has been shifting fine, and I have had no
difficulties entering any gear. Does this sound like something I should be
concerned about (i.e., something that would cause a sudden clutch failure
while me or my wife is driving our infant son around)?

Also, can anyone recommend an independant shop South of Boston on the 'South
Shore?'

Thanks in advance for ideas/ suggestions.
Jeremy
