in response to the questions about tires...

>1.) I checked the saabnet archives and hear that 205/60R15 fit on a '90
>9000 CD OEM wheels (15'?). Is this true? How 'bout a set of 215/55R15?

hi

if you are still wondering...
probably lots of people answered your ?'s about tire /wheel combos. i use
205 60 15 on my OEM 9000 wheels. 215 would be no problem.

>2.) I have heard all of the great praises for the Nokian Hakka winter
>tires, but does anyone have experience with the Hakkapeliita NRV asymetric
>summer tires
sorry,no infor here. i wonder , what makes you consider Nokia as summer
tires ? i was thinking about trying to find Gislaved (Swedish) tires for
summer since i use INCREDIBLE Gislaved in the winter.

>3.) Last one! Anyone have a comparsion of the Hakka 1's verses the Hakka
>Q's?
my father uses hakka 1's on his 1993 volvo 940 sedan (rear wheel drive,
about 3200 lbs car). seems like they are holding up very well, even though
we have had nearly dry pavement all last winter and this winter. (no snow
covered roads here in buffalo the last three years.) i dont really like
these tires in the snow. they are good, but not GREAT. also, they are too
'loose feeling' on dry pavement. i guess thats just how hakkas are in
general, but i dont like that. (other hakkas i have used were worse in
this 'loose feeling' respect in the dry.)
i guess when u consider that the dry roads are NOT chewing them up and
that they were so inexpensive, its a good deal overall, but i would rather
spend more and get something better.
