Gene,

Congratulations on your successful radio installation. Yes, the guy at CC
didn't know what he was talking about. He must have been working on too many
Ford products with JBL Premium Sound. Even then, there is an adapter
available to let you bypass the external amplifier and still use the factory
wiring and speakers.

I just installed a new Blaupunkt radio that I bought from Crutchfield
(http://www.crutchfield.com) in my
1991 9000T. They included the wiring

harness that worked perfectly. I believe it is also available separately for
$9:
