Exterior Mirror Glass

I have a 1991 9000S with 160k miles. The mirror glass for the
left side exterior mirror became loose and recently separated
from the rubber-covered foam backing sheet that appears to attach
it to the plastic mounting bracket. This is a heated mirror which
appeared to be working the last time I remember using it. The
only evidence of any adhesive left on the glass is a 1/4' dot of
the black rubber that went with the glass, exposing the white
foam. Is there an adhesive I can use to reattach the glass to the
rubber without hindering the heating action, or must I buy a new
assembly? Of interest, the right side glass does not appear to be
loose (yet).

Thanks,
Kurt Reinmiller
