Poor Idle

I have a problem with my '88 900 Aero and thought you might be
able to help me. My engine runs perfectly when the temperatures
outside are warm or when the engine is could. In winter, when the
temperature drops below 10°C and the engine gets warm, the car
idles at 1200-1300 rpm. If you come to a stop after high speeds
(e.g. Autobahn) the engine revs even higher (worst case was 2300).
After standing at a red light for some minutes the revs drop to a
norml level but after driving a few undred metres to the next traffic
light the idling speed goes up to 1200rpm again.
I also have the impression that if you rev up the engine while driving
and than press the clutch pedal the engine returns to idle very
slowly. My brother said that it might be the aic-valve but we only
have a spare one from the Lucas 2.4LH Jetronic which won't fit my
Bosch 2.2LH Jetronic.
Every hint is appreciated.
Thank's a lot!
