Alternator Removal

I need some information to help me get my 1996 900 turbo (NG) back on the
road. I am having difficulty removing the alternator. I had no problem
removing the bottom 8mm hex screw but the top mounting bolt has me completely
baffled. Is it also a hex or is it torx? The problem is that the belt
tensioner makes it very difficult to get a tool in to work on it. Removing
the tensioner would help but this too is a puzzle. I tried to remove the
bracket holding the tensioner but it too is very difficult to reach all the
bolts. Can anyone help? Thanks! DDD
