Climate Control System Odor

Proud to say that we're now a TWO Saab family.

The 2002 9-5 Sedan has an A/C problem, however. I am getting a
rotten odor through the ventilation system after start up. I
hate even typing/thinking about it, but it smells a little like
dog crap. It dissapates quickly, but it's enough to get you to
open the windows for a minute to ventilate.

In advance of my 5k service, I called the dealer and asked about
this. They said that it's been happening, and that it goes away
by 10 k miles. They've got some printout about it that they'll
give to me when I go in next week.

Anybody else confront this problem? What gives?

And another thing...Anyone know how to get rid of the magnetic
charge in the doors that seems to attract other cars' doors?
