While you're waiting for responses from people with NG900s, you should
know that the EZPass sensor is on the roof the toll lane, i.e., directly
overhead. Thus, if you wave the sensor, you'll either have to hold it
out the window or perhaps hold it just above the dash and all the way
forward. The closer the transponder is mounted to the top of the
windshield, the more likely, in my experience, that the signal gets
blocked. This varies with the rake (angle) of the windshield. Ideally,
you'd want the thing mounted horizontally, facing up, although a slight
angle may enable the system to pick up the signal before you're actually
in the booth, thus letting you pass through at a higher speed.

I used to have problems with EZPass on the Tappan Zee bridge (but not on
the NYC bridges) until they 'upgraded' the TZ installation. Unless more
than one ng900 owner tells you otherwise, if I were you, I'd get the
inside mount transponder and once or twice hand-hold it against the
glass, just behind the rearview mirror but below any black band. After
you've convinced yourself that it works there, you can mount the velcro
strips.

91 900T Conv (so no top to block the EZPass signal, but the rail at the
top of the windshield can also block it)
