Mississippi River Saab Tour to be held April 27th

The Saab Club of North America is sponsoring the first Mississippi River 
Saab Tour, Saturday, April 27th, 2001. The tour will consist of a casual 
drive with other Saab enthusiasts on scenic backcountry roads along the 
Upper Mississippi River.  Bring your spouse/significant other and your 
camera as this route offers beautiful scenery and wildlife, including prime 
Bald Eagle habitat. Of course, the route also offers some great roads!

The event will start at 10:30 a.m., just across the Mississippi River from 
La Crosse, Wisconsin, following 'The Great River Road' through Minnesota, 
Wisconsin and Iowa. The tour will incorporate a barbeque lunch break at 
Pikes Peak State Park (no, not that one), and will end at the Mississippi 
River Museum and Diamond Jo Riverboat Casino in downtown Dubuque, Iowa at 
approximately 4pm.

Prizes will be awarded for several categories including the Drool Bucket 
Award and the Saab that has traveled the furthest for the event. SCNA's 
famous BFH will be there, too!  Here's a chance to behold the holy helmet 
in person!

will be sent updates with more details as the tour nears.
