Distributor Cap - Rotor - Wires

I'm getting ready to do a 65K mi. 'tune up' on a 95 900S and, according
to the owner's manual, there is no requirement to ever replace the
distributor cap, rotor or plug wires. I know this is listed as a
requirement in the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual with my 89
9000S and 93 900S. I can't believe this is a 'typo' or an oversight but
also find it hard to believe these items are good for the life of the
car.

Also, the maintenance schedule for the 95 900S lists doing a fluid
change on the automatic transmission at 65K but does not say anything
about changing a filter. Is this because it doesn't have one or it
doesn't need changing?
