Model Reliability

I am looking at a 9000 CSE or AERO. Is there a year to avoid? What are the
frequencies of major computers failing? Is out of warranty = out of money
(expensive and frequent repairs)? What year was the DI cassette updated and
how frequently do they go out? What year did the air conditioning become
non-freon? Any other major items to be concerned with? The car would not be
driven much (5000 miles a year) because of my proximity to work. How often
would I have to run the car to insure it 'stays functional', ie seals don't
leak, fuel doesn't get old, etc.?

I have an '86 9000 right now. I want to avoid what I have again if I
decide to put the money into something newer. Thanks to all who responded
about my life span questions on the '86.

Thanks,
Ramin
