Slow Coolant Leak Update

Many thanks to Saab-netters who answered my question about the slow coolant 
leak in my 97 900 SET.  Most of the responses I received were by private 
e-mail, rather than on the board.  To briefly repeat the problem, the dealer 
could not find a slow coolant leak in my car, despite pressure testing.  One 
option I was given by the dealer was to put a 'Stop-leak' substance in the 
coolant.

No Saab-netters thought that was a good idea.  Some suggested replacing the 
water pump, as the car has 50K miles, and they had heard of or experienced 
similar problems.

I noticed the leak did not occur when the car was warm, but only after it had 
cooled-down overnight in my garage.

I took the car back to the dealer, asked them to keep it overnight, and see 
if they could find the leak.  They did that, with pressure on the system as 
well.  Turns out it was around the thermostat housing.  It has been replaced. 

Hopefully that is the end of the story.  If not, I'll let you know.
