Talladega Edition

My '87 900 SPG will soon be off to were ever rear-ended Saabs go when the
insurance company totals the car. So I've been in the market for something
special yet a daily driver. And newer and in better condition, as per my
significant other's instructions. So I was thinking what replaced the SPG
before the Viggen and I remembered about the Talladega. And like fate
happening, a '97 900SE Talladega Edition was listed locally in the
classifieds. I went and saw it and was a bit confused by what I saw and was
told. So I went looking through my old Nines and came across the blurbs
about the Talladega Edition, but they were rather sparse. I hope that the
good folks of the list can add more.

How many Talladega's were made?
Did they come stock with a wooden dash and trim around the inner door
handles? (The second-owner said the first-owner added them.)
Is the eight-spoke wheel still available? (The car has the Viking
three-spokes.)

Any additional info would be appreciated,
