Motor mounts are basically made of rubber and require no break-in. Some
newer ones have a tuned hydraulic construction, but they to don't need
break-in either. While motor mounts are mostly rubber, keep in mind that
rubber comes in all sorts of different stiffness' in order to enable the
designer to choose the one that best fits the characteristics of the engine
and its mounting arrangement. That's why for something like this it is
better to get the OEM part. After all, most of the repair money is in the
time to remove the old ones and install the new ones, not the parts
themselves.
