Re: Clutch Bleeding Procedure

I use a Motive Products pressure bleeder (www.motiveproducts.com) -- the
price was reasonable, and it fits all four of my european cars. For the
clutch, it is sometimes not enough to bleed it in the forward direction,
and I have resorted to forcing fluid into the bleeder screw using the
Mityvac pump hooked up backwards. It still can take a few iterations to
get the clutch back fully. The best method I've used, though, is that
outlined in the manual for my MB 220 -- connect a hose from one of the
front brake calipers to the clutch slave cylinder, then bleed by pumping
the brake pedal.
