Congratulaitons for your new car!

You probably read the mails on the 1993. In addition to this info I
want to emphasize following points for servicing:

* Change the oil and filter every 10k kmetres (6k miles), instead of
the 20 that the service program states. With the shorter drain
interval you can use a quality mineral or semi-synthetic oil
*Change the brake fluid on time to avoid expensive repairs on ABS
components
*Change the coolant on time and thermostat (82 C) along to avoid
overheating and extend life of the head gasket
*Change the spark plugs on time to keep the expensive DI cassette
working, use only NGK brand plugs and make sure gap is set to 1 mm

What comes to driving, wait until the temp gauge rises to the green
zone before using full power. Before shutting down let the engine
idle for a few secs, the bearings of the turbo are hot when it's
blowing and during idle they have a chance to cool down gradually.
Don't rush changing the gears on a manual transmission - the
synchros wear fast.

Last thing, at some point the car will break down frequently until
you are ready to get rid of it right away. After getting past this
point you can expect a long period of reliable service!
