i couldnt agree more...living NEAR Buffalo, NY, which actually doenst get
that much snow, AND living in Boston, NY (just 15 minutes SOUTH of Buffalo),
which gets TONS of snow every year, we drive both on snow covered,
undisturbed roads AND on salted, slushy, icey roads all winter.

four snow tires (preferably swedish) make this an enjoyable experience, as
the secure road holding you experience pleases you more and more...

certain cars, with a number of dynaics coming together, make just fantastic
snow cars with only two wheels driven and with relatively low horse power to
weight ratios. the C 900 is one such fantastic snow car! but any car
becomes terribly more capable in these conditions with four narrow snow
tires.
