Water Injection

Hello again Everybody,

Its been a little while since I last posted a message here, but I am hoping
someone out there might have the little bit of information I need.

I am in the process of building my own water injection system. The system
is computer controlled, and distributes water as required by the engine, it
doesn't just switch on like the £360 aquamist system. My computer monitors
the manifold pressure, from this measurement, it calculates how much water
is required, and turns on the pump to deliver the water. The method of
controlling the pump is PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). A LED Bar chart
consisting of 2 greens, 2 yellows, and 2 reds illuminates displaying how
much power is being fed to the pump. If the system detects your water level
is getting low it will switch to water save mode, in this mode the computer
waits for the manifold pressure to get higher, before powering the pump,
the level of water injection is still controllable but only for the
movement in the red LED zone, thus still preventing knock, and saving
water.

My question to you is. I have been calculating water flows against fuel
flows. I have come to an answer but I would like to check it with anyone
who might already know this. During peak boost, my water injection computer
is programmed to deliver 210 millilitres a minute of atomised water, is
this enough ?. If it is not then my system can be easily re-programmed.

The system is not in my car yet, but it works well on the bench, I am
fitting it in a week or so, so if anyone is interested in my system, please
let me know.

Thanks in advance for your help.
