Highway Wander

I have a 1996 Saab 900SE Turbo. At 60,000 miles there is quite a bit of
highway wander despite new tires & alignment. Vehichle appears to yaw from
side to side, bery sensitive in cross winds, pretty 'nervous' at high speed.
Ball joints and bushings appear OK. I use the car mostly on the highway. I
am considering lowering the car & adding Koni shocks. Springs are said to
firm up the ride. Sure I could use shocks by now. I would be interested in
hearing from others who have done this and the results they have had.
