I have a QCP-860 on a Verizon (previously AirTouch) network. I bought the
hands-free car kit from Qualcomm (now Kyocera Wireless Corp) for ~$225 and
Airtouch installed it in my 9-5 Aero for $100. The car kit uses the
imbedded mic in the headliner and the audio is piped through the stereo
speakers. When you either receive a call or make a call, the car kit
automatically mutes the stereo and 'TELEPHONE' appears on the SID. Pretty
slick. The Airtouch tech who installed the car kit at first didn't think
he was going to be able to use the imbedded mic and speakers, but I had him
talk to the Saab service manager in order to guide him through the
procedure.

The hands free kit is voice activated, so when you receive a call, after
the stereo is muted, the kit asks, 'incoming call, answer?.' You say
either 'yes' or 'no.' Kit stores up to 40 voice recognized phone numbers.
So you train the kit that 'Home' means call your home phone number, etc....

Note that you'd get the same car kit with a QCP-1960 or QCP-2760 from
Sprint.
