Door Locks

Something rather terrible has happened to one of my rear door locks on a 1989
9000 cdt, i noticed the bolt was not going down with the others and could
not be made to go down by hand... I applied a little pressure and something
gave and it went down - too far - the door did not lock.. and it now seems
totally broken.

having an unlocked door here in my part of london means I probably wont have
a car soon... is it feasible to go into the door by removing trim etc, will I
find anything I can fix with parts from saab or from a wreckers yard or
should I just hand it over to a saab dealer?

Thanks

Nick
