HAd a similar problem on my wife's 89 9000T this weekend, as it happned
1x before I used the same cure. The little temp sensor (resistor?) which
is mounted in the little fan housing on the dash, below the seat heater
adjustment. well the resistor builds up dust and dirt over time. When
enough builds up it is like a little blanket and it does not respond
properly to the air moving over it. I simply remove the little cover use
a can of compressed air, also used to keep computers dust free,
carefully blow it out and use a q-tip to carefully remove all remaining
grime. Did this friday evening as had a complaint of searching ACC and
rest of weekend was fine.
