in my 86 9000 T, redline MTL made the trans. a little quieter and made 
shifting a little smoother.  it also reduced the tendancy to pop out of 
second gear.  i also believe that it is buying me more time before the NEXT 
rebuild.

note that redline makes several formulas for differnet transmissions.

(when you said that you hade used Mobil 1, Syntec & Dead Dino juice, I'm 
sure  you meant transmission fluid by these companies, because -- it is 
worth saying again for anyone who doesnt know-- SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL is not 
for gearboxes (even though conventional mineral oil may be).
