Squealing After Brake Job

Last month (September) a poster talked about a squealing from his
front brakes after getting new pads and rotors.  The sound would
occur a few times a week and would stop when the brakes were
applied.  It may come back after the brakes are released but it
would soon stop until it appeared later in the week. 

I reported a similar problem with my rear brakes after they
received new pads and rotors and brought it up
when I went in for a 75K service on my '98 900S that also included
doing a front brake job.  

Now that it's been about 3 weeks, I can report status.  The rear
brakes were inspected and found to be fine.  They blew out any
remaining 'debris' and that seemed to keep the squealing from
coming back.  By 'debris,' I think they were referring to brake
dust residue. The front brakes started squealing after about a week
but less often than experienced with the rear brakes.  

So, if the hardware is fine and nothing is sticking, it is probably
a cleanliness issue.
