For about US$1000 you can add B&G springs and Koni adjustable shocks to
your 9-3S from Accelerated Response Motoring and out handle any Viggen out
there. Add another $1000 for BF Goodrich gforce 215/50 ZR16 tires and the
Mille Miglia 5 spoke wheels at the Tire rack and for thousands less than a
SE you have an absolute head turner which will run circles around other
Saabs, even in the wet. And the best part is you don't slide around in
those poorly bolstered leather seats. The S has nice grippy cloth.

THe B&G springs drop the car about 1.5 inches. Now it looks like a normal
car instead of a jacked up SUV that Saabs with 15 inch rims often look
like. I know they have lots of bumpy gravel roads in Sweden, but we so in
Canada too and I have yet to bang my spoiler lip on even a curb. Get with
it Saab ! If you are going to sell outside the motherland, adapt !

Woundn't mind traction control though. Can that be retrofit from the 2001
to the 2000?
