Ki, since you say it cools down fine on the highway, it sounds to me like
there is not enough air going through the radiator around town. You'll
probably kick yourself for this, but you probably just need a cooler
radiator switch. I forget what the specs are, but I called up my parts
place and ordered the coolest switch they had for my car when I was having
a lot of overheating problems last summer. It comes on much earlier than
the stock switch, and keeps the car very nicely in the middle most of the
time. In fact, I use it only as a summer switch since it keeps the car too
cool for wintertime driving.
