I have an 86 900 turbo hatch. The dash was in really bad shape, along =
with the face plate. It was beyond cracked. It looked abused and I =
suspect, replaced before.

First, as I am removing the old one, I find that it was missing some =
bolts, but more interestingly, I find a stray vaccuum line between where =
the glove would be and the heater control. It's plugged off. All lines =
from the heater control are accounted for. Does anyone have any ideas =
about the stray?

Second, the window washer switch had been bypassed for a cumbersome =
toggle switch that was located on the shifter tray. The actual handle =
switch looks ok. I'd like to fix this the right way and get rid of the =
switch. Any ideas?

Third, how do I remove the console located between the seats that houses =
PW controls, Seat belts and emergency brake?

Thanks for the help. You are helping to keep an SPG on the road. =20
