With all due respect, I don't find this lack of braking in the rain/slush
normal or common. My clunky old '89 Sable wagon - with rear drum brakes -
never did this. This seems very peculiar to the SAAB and it is very scary.

My car almost drifted onto the street into the path of an oncoming car one
morning because I initially had no brakes after the car sat out in the cold
snow/slush. I practically had to push the brake pedal through the firewall
before anything happening. Driving in the winter is difficult enough
without this BS.
