I'm a 39 year old man who lives in Miami and I've always admired Saabs from
afar and finally bought one in Nov of 98.  It's a Midnight blue 9-5 SE with
the ventilated seats(Very handy in the hot Florida climate).  When I bought
it people said be careful they're quircky and unreliable.  Well I've had it
over 14 months now and it's been an incredible precision crafted touring
sedan.  Yes, there's things about it that bother me sometimes like: the
lack of interior roominess, the not totally comfortable seating position,
and don't forget the hefty price tag.  But there's things that are great
about it: the wonderful brakes, the unique sporty styling, the european
feel of the steering and handling, the nice features that are unique to
Saab, and the powerful turbo charged 4 cylinder.  I've had no problems with
it but it is a hassle to get routine maintanance at the dealer and parts
are very expensive( $27 for each wiper blade-give me a break you crazy
Trollhaten people )  But, overall it's been a good, reliable vehicle.
