I own a German version of '91 900 conv. 'Monte Carlo' No. 96 of 350 made
and my wife drives a '91 900 16 S (German name for the Aero or American SPG
model). Don't believe the 'Monte' - convertible has the same spring /
dampers kit.
My original springs in convertible have red marks on, the sport springs
from Aero have silver marks and stiffer dampers. The Aero/SPG/16S -
spring/damper kit is the best compromise of good handling and comfort i
ever drove! So i wanted to switch from the plushy style of 'Monte Carlo'
red marked springs to the original Saab Aero spring / dampers combo!

I wrote to Saab Germany and this guys do not recommend to do this in cause
of possible structure demages of the body???!!! I didn't it........

Any other comments??? Please let me know...

Goog luck!

Richard!
