Sometimes a ridge of rust builds up around the outer edge of the
disk. This is actually wider than the disk and can prevent the new
pads from going on. You can remove it with a sander or disk
grinder.

If your problem is with the caliper oving on its sliding points you
can used a large c-clamp to move it. You can also use the c-
clamp to push the pucks back into the cylinders.

I don't have a Saab (yet) so I am speaking from experience on
other cars.

FYI, the Fred Beans dealership in Doylestown PA is having a Saab
night on Wednesday 3/29 at 7:00. They will have a shop tour and
other stuff. They are new to selling Saabs. Call 215-345-7222 to
find out more.

Drive Safe,

Joe
