I have done this job twice and it is really no big deal. Just a matter of
unscrewing the old and replacing with the new. The rear lines on my '85
900T16 were a little tougher because you must work under the rear seat and
under the car simultaneously, but they are reachable from next to the car
on the right side (assuming, of course that the '89 plumbing is similar).
For what it's worth, I bought my lines from IMPARTS in St. Louis?? and they
were only about $55 for the full set at the time. Major improvement in
pedal feel. Solid/firm/very modulatable. If you can't find them or imparts
no longer carries them I think I kept the bag/card from the manufacturer
(if I can find it...) Maybe you can get them directly.

Have fun,
Andrew Baker.
