If your radio and CD-player are still in their original positions, you need
to pull out your ash tray, reach in behind it, and push whole the ACC unit
out of the dash from behind.

Then unplug the two harness connectors that connect it to the car.

Then remove the top steel cover from the back of the unit, held on by several
small screws.

Then find the three round green plastic bulb-bases, and use a small flat
screwdriver to twist and remove the ones with bad bulbs in them.

Install new bulbs, replace steel cover, plug unit back into the wiring
harnesses, insert unit into dashboard, turn on the car, and run the
self-test/calibration routine by pressing the Auto and <<>> buttons
simultaneously.

The calibration step is necessary for the ACC unit to re-establish base-line
setting for the stepper motors that it communicates with when it wants
particular vent (air distribution) and heat (temp distribution) settings. It
is described on page 22 of your owner's manual, and is necessary after the
unit is unplugged from the car, or after the battery is disconnected from the
car.

If you have previously set up a custom ACC startup mode, it will have been
erased, and you will have to program it again. Instructions are on page 22
of your owner's manual.
