Plugs; Distributor cap & rotor (if not Direct Ignition); oil, fuel, & air
filters; heater/AC air filter (some models; don't remember 1990 for sure);
exhaust oxygen sensor. Front end alignment. Transmission oil as well as
engine oil.

Should not need a charcoal canister.

You might do as well to get a full 60,000 mi 'major service' on it. It
will cost $450 or so, and will ensure all the right stuff gets changed and
checked. After that, go the 'do it yourself' route.

I highly recommend synthetic oil for a Turbo. The oil will run cooler, and
the risk of a blocked oil line to the turbine due to coking is
significantly reduced. Just bring 4 quarts of Mobil 1, Amsoil, or your
favorite brand synthetic to the dealer when you take it in, and ask him to
use that instead of regular oil. No need for any special changeover
routine -- today's synthetics are completely compatible with regular oil.
