I've had an Abbott ECU on Lansen (1994 900 SET) for 40,000 miles - and I
wouldn't be without it! I don't know exactly how much HP I've gained over the
stock 185 but it IS substantial. I regret driving my wife's C900 convertible
to SOC03 because if I had lansen I would have put her on the dyno.

Driveability - no change

Reliability - I did blow a head gasket, but then when I put my foot into it
I'm showing 17-18 psi on a VDO turbo gauge. The tranny has been rebuilt but
that had nothing to do with the Abbott box because it was reverse that went
and I don't floor it going backwards.

hot start/hot idle - no change
check engine light - HUH?
gas mileage - high 20s on the highway 20 or so in town (but why put in a
reprogrammed ECU if you aren't going to use it?)

You pay your money and makes your choice! Two reasons why I'd replace Lansen:
(1) it gets totalled or (2) I can't get in the back seat anymore! (Well,
maybe if I won the Indiana Lottery which is unlikely since I don't play.)

Five doors would be nice at times.

I'd keep the '97 and go Abbott.
