Drivers: Based on the e-mails I received off-line, it appears that there is
some body of misinformation floating out there in Saabland, with regard to
the key fob, and how to re-synchronize it to your car's system, after the
fob goes through the laundry. I had two clues:

Owner's manual, Page 75. 'NOTE If a remote control unit is lost, the new
remote must be programmed together with the remaining remote....Contact your
Saab dealer.' ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Allan of Argonne suggested something about pressing the button five times.
So I combined what made sense of both his suggestion and the owner's manual.

I held down the button of the remote that works while simultaneously
pressing the button five times of the remote that doesn't work.

Once again, I have two working key fobs.

regards,
