About 9 months ago (September to be exact) I had my 91 9000CD into a =
detailing shop to have it cleaned.

Seems that they goy some fluid down the switches, because the roof =
switch began sticking (no there has not been a spill of pop in the car), =
and at the same time the EDI stopped working.

Having seen threads about this, I shone a flashlight into the unit, and =
the unit is working, just display out.

I figure out that it must be the bulb(s) gone, no problem will wait till =
after winter and replace all of the dash bulbs.

In January, I sprayed contact cleaner on the switches, and the unit =
miraculously starts working again. Hmm Interesting.

3 weeks ago, it goes off again, and last night the roof stops working, =
no clicking nothing

How does one go about tracing these items.

Afraid I do not like electrical problems, usually a sign of bad things =
to come

regards

David Mackay
