The SP Sport 5000 ('all-weather') might be a good choice for all-season
comfort, with a standby of the Kumho ECSTA 712's for summer use only. I've
been contemplating such choices for years and have decided to have a
dedicated set of snows (Hakka Q's for our Michigan winters...not as bad as
Potomac, near my old home of Ft.WA) and then swap over to the summer tires
(Kumho's). Best of both worlds. You will find that at the price, nothing,
nothing works better than the 712's for stability and traction on warm
pavement, be it wet or dry. One thing though, the 712's should be taken off
as_soon_as you see any of the white stuff. See comparisons at
www.tirerack.com or spend a little bit of time searching the saabnet bulletin
boards. Good luck.

BTW- I think you'll find a lot of lukewarm responses to the MXV4's...
