You didn't say where on the garage floor the leak is so I'll offer an idea
based upon a guess. If it's inside of the right front wheel then it's
probably the water pump. They generally don't go at 49,000 miles but I guess
that is not unheard of. To see that it has been leaking you have to look at
the area below the water pump shaft. The tipoff is a green stain (dry or wet
antifreeze). Personally, I won't put an additive in the system to stop the
leak; there's no telling what new problems that might lead to.

When water pumps start to leak they get worse; I'd get it out of there. I
just replaced mine on a 2000 9-5 at 85,000 miles; not really very unusual.
