I live three miles up a dirt road in a real wilderness area, with a
tremendous number of wild rodents. The one thing which has worked 100% has
been to leave the hoods fully open whenever vehicles are parked here. Mice
are looking for warm dark hiding places, and an exposed engine is neither.

So does anyone know how interchangeable the fiber insulating liners under
the hoods of old-gen Saabs are? My 91 Turbo convertible liner got pretty
badly chewed before I figured out why it was so attractive to the mice...
All the air and washer hoses needed replacing anyway. They only ate a few
of the wires - like the coil primary...
