HELP!!!!! I have a 96 900. I only have one security key fob for the car.
Today .. I went to open the car and the keyfob transmitter is not working. I
changed the batteries. Nothing. Of course .. the car is in my driveway (
armed ). I called two dealers and they gave me differing stories. One said ..
the only way to fix the problem is a new security system. The other said
they could get a new fob for the vehicle and reprogram the current computer.
But only if the computer is in the Un-armed position. Does anybody have any
ideas or suggestions? The anti theft system shuts off the fuel pump and
disengages the starter. Does anybody know if the computer can be
reprogrammed? Thanks in Advance. Please email if you have any ideas. I
really appreciate it.
