Tires That Last

I'm looking for advice on some new tires. Something my '90 Saab 900T is  =
not going to  to eat up in less than year (20k miles). Right now I've got =
some Bridgestones that aren't too far from the tire heap. I've had Dunlop =
D 60's and some Insignia tires (NTB brand?) and all of them seem to be =
worn out by 20K + miles. I've gotten just about all my tires from Tire =
America, now NTB (owned by Sears) for the last couple of decades, but I'm =
going to shop around a little this time. I'm not really ready to go the =
mail order route, one stop shopping has it's appeal. I am going to call my

 Saab wizard (mechanic), Leo Schuler, for his suggestions.

Anyway I'm looking for a tire that will last. I'd settle for 30K miles at =
this point, but I'd love to be a able to approach wearing out one of those
= 50 or 60K warranties. I'm willing to trade some performance for
durability.=
 I've got an easy, fun commute: 10 miles of country roads (all paved) and =
20 miles of Interstate twice a day. I've got 15 inch wheels.  We hardly =
see any snow (dang!) here in southern Indiana. The guy at NTB had two =
suggestions:

Michelin Weathermasters no39sdcx6spamx782 $97
Goodyear Weatherbeaters no39sdcx6spamx782 $86

and they were closing out some Goodrich Touring TA's at $60

Any comments or suggestions?
