SOC02 Meeting

Just a friendly reminder that in EIGHT days we'll be gathering again to plan
and plot the SOC02, this time on location at the Kings Island Resort & Inn
in Cincinnati.  Anyone wishing to volunteer their services at the SOC02 is
encouraged to be there starting at 11AM sharp!  I've talked with the
catering staff, and they will serve us an amazing spread of a sampler meal
at 3PM, including filet mignon, baked stuffed shrimp, chicken cordon bleu,
salmon Flourentine....man, it's an impressive list, and sounds tasty!  It
will cost us, however, $25 a head; I'm pretty sure I can have the SOC
general fund pick this up :-)  So come hungry!  And if you are coming and
haven't already informed me as such, PLEASE do so very soon!

Directions to the meet are as follows:

FROM COLUMBUS AND POINTS EAST: Take I-71 south to the Kings Mills Rd. exit;
turn left off the exit, then right on Kings Island Drive.  Hotel is
immediately on your right.

FROM CINCINNATI: if you don't already know how to get to Kings Island,
you're in sad shape.

FROM POINTS SOUTH: take I-75 north to Cincinnati, then take I-71 north just
as you cross the river; follow it north to the Kings Mills Rd. exit; turn
right off the exit, then right on Kings Island Drive.  Hotel is immediately
on your right.

FROM POINTS NORTH (Michigan): Take I-75 south to the Monroe, Ohio exit (Exit
29); turn left off the exit and go about five miles east on US 63; turn
right onto ST RT 741 and go south about eight miles; turn left on Kings
Mills Road, and as soon as you cross the interstate turn right onto Kings
Island Drive.  The hotel is immediately on your right.

FROM INDIANA: Take I-70 east to I-75 south (Dayton); go south about 30 miles
to the Monroe, Ohio exit (Exit 29); turn left off the exit and go about five
miles east on US 63; turn right onto ST RT 741 and go south about eight
miles; turn left on Kings Mills Road, and as soon as you cross the
interstate turn right onto Kings Island Drive.  The hotel is immediately on
your right.
