I replaced warped rotors on the front of my 92 9000T about 50k miles ago.
They were obtained from Abbott Racing in Canada and along with Repco (now
called something else) pads made in Australia I noticed an immediate
improvement in braking, especially hard stops from high speed. The drilling
helps with heat dissipation and I'm sure the improved pads generate more heat
and therefore stop better. I haven't checked lately to see how much wear has
occurred on the rotors, but would expect them to wear faster as there must be
some price for increased friction. The rotors were expensive, about $250 U.S.
including pads a few years ago, but in my mind it was money well spent.
